John is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. John's private practice is located in Salem, Oregon. John completed his graduate work at the University of Michigan and began his independent practice in 1981.
Prior to starting private practice, John worked at the Oregon State Hospital providing services to patients with a variety of mental and emotional issues. For a number of years he also provided follow-up services in the Salem area for Serenity Lane, a drug and alcohol treatment program

He does this by providing empathic feedback and practical suggestions to facilitate each person in realizing their full potential. John helps his clients build on their strengths, overcome obstacles and feel better about themselves.
